Art Classes for Adult
Learn how to paint beautiful still life watercolour artworks in this class. At the end of the class, you will take home your artwork and a range of new skills. This class is ideal for both beginners and anyone with some experience, as Emma will teach you the principles of still life composition, tips on pencil sketching, the fundamentals of watercolour for still life painting and the principles of composition and proportion in art.
You'll be given some tips on how to approach painting a still life scene and will go on to reinterpret a set scene using a variety of techniques and colours. Break with traditional still life patterns and apply creative painting techniques to produce unique and modern works.

Material List
Please bring the following materials with you to class;
Watercolour paints: Winsor and Newton watercolour paints

Watercolour paper cold-pressed – pad of A3 or smaller

Large watercolour palette – if unsure, just bring large white melamine or ceramic plate. Susie can show you which type of palette is best.

Watercolour Brushes: size 12 and 16. Synthetic round brushes are available at Bunning's craft section for under $5 each and are excellent. You will not need small brushes.
