Around the World in 10 Days – Holiday Art Adventure! 
 

This school holiday, join us for a creative journey across the globe! Each day, we’ll “travel” to a different country through art, discovering its unique culture, famous landmarks, delicious food, and traditional crafts.


Time: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Full-day program)


Location: Rainbow Tree Art Studio – 17 Lawndale Ave, North Rocks

Ages: 5–12 years

Includes: Drawing, painting, craft, and cultural exploration

Monday:   07/07/ 2025 ($120) 
World Travel Through Art – Day 1: USA 

Today, our journey begins in the United States of America. Students will draw the iconic Statue of Liberty, exploring its powerful symbolism and bold design.

 

They'll also bring their favourite Disney characters to life through cartoon-style drawing, learning how to capture expressive features and movement. In the afternoon, we’ll dive into American fast food culture by crafting mini hamburgers and fries with colourful clay – a fun and tactile 3D art experience to kick off our world tour!

Tuesday:   08/07/2025  ($120) 
World Travel Through Art – Day 2 : Japan

Today we travel to Japan! Students will paint a beautiful scene of Mount Fuji with cherry blossoms using acrylic paint. They’ll also explore Japanese food culture by making cute sushi with clay. A day full of colour, creativity, and cultural charm!

World Travel Through Art – Day 3 : Greece

Today we journey to the stunning land of Greece! Students will paint a beautiful landscape inspired by the blue rooftops and sparkling sea of the Aegean coast.

 

In the afternoon, they’ll explore the world of ancient Greek pottery and create their own unique patterns on clay flower pots, combining history with hands-on design.

World Travel Through Art – Day 4: Italy

Experience the romance and charm of Italy! In the morning, students will draw iconic landmarks such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Roman Colosseum, capturing the beauty of Italy’s rich history.

 

In the afternoon, creativity takes a delicious turn as students dive into Italy’s famous food culture by crafting their own imaginative 3D pizzas using colourful clay — a fun and tactile celebration of Italian flavours and artistic flair!

Tuesday:   11/07/2025  ($120) 
 World Travel Through Art – Day 5:  Egypt

Today we travel to the land of ancient wonders — Egypt! ! Students will draw pyramids, deserts, and camels to capture the beauty of this historic land.


In the afternoon, they’ll create their own ancient Egyptian wall art using foil, engraving tools, and paint, inspired by traditional hieroglyphics and Egyptian symbols.

Wednesday:  14/07/2025  ($120) 
World Travel Through Art – Day 6:  China

Labubu is a famous character created by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung. With its big eyes, wild hair, and cheeky smile, Labubu has become a popular figure in Chinese pop art and designer toys.morning, we’ll celebrate this creative Chinese character by painting our own version of Labubu using bright acrylic colours and our imagination!


This is a fun way to introduce modern Chinese pop art and character design!


In the afternoon, children will create their own adorable clay pandas — inspired by China’s beloved national treasure. Using air-dry clay, they’ll learn basic sculpting techniques to form the panda’s body, face, and signature black-and-white features. This fun hands-on activity helps develop fine motor skills and encourages creativity through 3D art.

World Travel Through Art – Day 7:  UK

Welcome to the charming world of British culture! Today, students will explore iconic symbols of the United Kingdom by drawing Big Ben and the traditional royal guards in their striking red uniforms.

 

They’ll design their own version of the famous red London double-decker bus, adding creative flair and details. In the afternoon, we’ll create a delightful 3D English afternoon tea set using clay – think tiny teacups, scones, and pastries – blending culture and creativity in this hands-on art adventure.

World Travel Through Art – Day 8:  Africa

Today we explore the vibrant rhythms and colours of Africa! Students will paint joyful scenes of African animals and people dancing, full of movement and energy. In the afternoon, they’ll create colourful tribal masks and handmade necklaces using beads, clay, cardboard and string. A lively and creative journey through African culture!

Thursday:  17/07/2025  ($120) 
World Travel Through Art – Day 9:  Netherland

Today we visit the Netherlands! Students will paint a beautiful Dutch landscape with tulips and windmills using acrylic paint. In the afternoon, they’ll decorate traditional wooden clogs with colourful acrylic designs, experiencing a fun part of Dutch culture through hands-on art.

Thursday:  18/07/2025  ($120) 
World Travel Through Art – Day 10:  Russia

Today we explore the bright and colourful world of Russia! Students will draw the famous Saint Basil’s Cathedral with its beautiful domes and patterns. They will also decorate Matryoshka dolls (nesting dolls) using traditional Russian folk designs. A fun and creative day full of colour and culture!
